Finally received refund, however will not change review as the only reason it was resolved was became posted on here and the company corporate email. The Gilbert employee only responded because corporate pushed to resolve

I have tried to cancel my membership for 3 months in a row now and I continually get billed the so-called manager jacob at the Gilbert, AZ location has stated that I would be reimbursed for December January plus the miscellaneous fees and now it is February and I have been billed yet again. When I try to call the location and speak to this person he never seems to be available when I walk into the location they have no idea and say I need to talk to the manager. Don't ever join this place or you will forever be billed for something that you don't use the people that work there are all a bunch of jokes!

New employee bad service

My wife and I have been members with Youfit for years and years - we were at the Lewisville TX location when it first opened up but that club shut down only after 9 months and we transferred the the Flower Mound Texas location where for years we've been more than satisfied. They have limited equipment but we're both just going to get in some cardio and some weight training we don't need a lot of equipment and for 10 bucks a month it was more than worth it; and since we were one of the first people to join at the Lewisville location we got the 20.00 a month perks for just the 10.00 so again well worth it. Until - they hired this new front desk person who at first seemed friendly enough - my wife forgot her key to get checked in on Saturday and the front desk lady gave her another key (it was odd since the key she gave her was white and we both have the green card) but no matter my wife would use the white card Saturday and find her green card for the rest of the week. Yesterday she showed up with her green card (I skipped the workout to go to work) but when she clocked in (same lady) with her found green card - the lady said - you don't have an account with us you can't work out. My wife was like wait just the other day you helped me so you know I have an account here - I've been working out here for five plus years or so. She tried to explain that she did something to her account but the lady wasn't having any of it and was being rude so my wife got upset (rightfully so) and the front desk lady started cursing at my wife which just escalated the issue. First - the management here should not hire a person who obviously has no customer service training; anyone who had would have deescalated the issue by saying I'm not sure what the problem is here - go work out and we'll figure it out but no - she insisted my wife got dressed up to go to workout and try and sneak into a club she didn't belong in? and most of the other members are agreeing with my wife that she has an account. My wife even has a locker there with her lock on it - which she went to - in order to clean it out; by this time she was so upset that she needed to leave and cancel her account but the lady (with great manners) said - we'll charge you ten dollars if you cancel... okay wonderful. I really liked this club but I've closed my accounts with them and hope that lady nothing but the best... but she should get training or get another job where she doesn't have to interact with other human beings.

Ruf7nd for cancellation

Contract cancelled same day it was created as contract was written wrong and rewriting it was also wrong. Date was 5/ 16. To date no refund for monthly dues paid in advance. Return calls regarding this never happened. Will give them till 26th then will put in dispute with my bank. Completely disgusted with their operations.

Cancled my membership you're still taking money from my acco

I went into the largo FL you fit to cancel my membership ( beginning of January) two months later I noticed that my bank account is still being charged, I haven't been in your facility to work out since signing up why is it so difficult to cancel my membership and get a refund for the times my account was charged? The facility manager not only told me that it was against policy to refund me be she told me that my account was going to be charged again

Way too overcrowded

The gym is always so overcrowded with people that all of the equipment is always taken up. They need to somehow limit how many people they allow to join or use the facility at once!!! The people who go to this gym are often very disrespectful as well. They go in large groups and are very selfish with the equipment.

YouFit are crooks -beware

Sure seemed like it. At any rate, I’m told today that they didn’t receive my cancellation until 12/20/2017 so I still needed to pay the December fee (which I already have! They took it out of my bank on 1/19/2018!). Oh yeah and they still want another $304?!?! These people are crooks! I’ve done some digging since this happened to me and there are over 150 complaints with the FL attorney general for this same behavior. I’ve made that number 151. I’ve also filed a complaint with the better business bureau and with the YouFit Corp office (but that was honestly a waste of time—they do not care). I would not recommend this company to anyone. They are crooks and scam artists.

Sick to my stomach

I witnessed a guy throwing up last Monday. He was in the back on the ten of the walk run track. I immediately went to the front desk and told the girl working that somebody was back there throwing up and someone might want to check to see if he is ok. It took her at least 10 minutes to figure out what to do she asked someone guy an he wasn’t concerned. So I asked when I left and person up front said the other girl went to clean it up. Boy I hope I never need medical attention while I’m there. The kid could have been dead by the time they went back

Fraud issue Im a fitness expert and was refused training /re

Ive contacted UFIT BOYnton beach Mall on many occasions to receive services I paid 130.00 for. One session was rendered. I did not get a reasonable accomodation under federal law. I was erroneously perceived as disabled.

"YOU CAN'T CANCEL"!!!

Anyone could write a review... negative or positive.

This one? One negative, but a major one. I simply was called (by a youfit sales rep/billing) to ask about renewing my membership, but decided that sense I haven't been to Youfit gym in over 20 months that I would cancel my membership. Immediately upon requesting to cancel I was told that all she does is renewals and accept payments but cannot cancel any membership (says it's not her department).

When asked why it is that you can renew membership and accept payments but not cancel she began to speak gibberish. Almost a foreign language. Though, clearly a native American. At any rate, so I still didn't renew and decided to call corporate.

Check this out... "Corporate # is bogus "! Not a real number at all! I called 3 times and each number found asked that I put in the zip code to a youfit nearest to you.

No corporate rep nor human being to speak with... other than a youfit store/gym. Pineapples! For the lack of a better term.

After speaking with the 2nd, clearly extremely young lady, who told me that I would have to write a letter requesting cancelation of my membership or come up there in person. Im honesty, I was completely offended. Now, if I was unable to come to my previously desired youfit gym, why would she insist on me coming up there to sign a cancelation waiver form (or something of the sort)? They only called because my Amex card had also been canceled and they were unable to charge me the monthly rate required.

Of which, I had forgotten all about my membership there due to no time for getting fit nor physically going to a gym. I don't recall the yoing lady that signed me up ever even metioning what to do in the event a customer decided to cancel. Funny how things work in this country these days. Now, it's more like companies are saying, "Though you haven't used our services in more than 20 months...

you still owe us money"! Wow! Well, I'm gonna go up there now I suppose. Also, call Amex and all of the credit bureaus and report those last 20 payments made on my card to be contested and refunded back to my card.

Not sure how this will go but I'm definitely goingto find out. So ridiculous! America the beautiful? Capitalism at it's finest!

Rip off experts charge you to fill out paper work to cancel

you fit after paying for 3 years not CV using club i requested to quit i had to fill out cancellation and they wanted to charge me $10 to process paperwork 6 months later still charging me buyer beware

Nothing electronic works

They sell you on a Movie/Cardio exercise room and all their high tech stuff. It hasn't been up and running in months.

The last time it was working is mid December 2017.

This is at the Mesquite Texas location. The employees have an excuse(lie) ever time you ask. I was told on February 2nd it would be finished that day. It is now February 27th.

They spent thousands on remodeling the outside and cant even fix the video screens on the elliptical or treadmills. a new prospect was there asking yesterday. The employee lied to them. I told them the truth.

The only reason I still go there is because its next to my house.

Have been looking to go back to Planet Fitness now. Same price as this gym.
