Youfit Health Clubs - "Gotcha" Contracts Will Only Get You So Far YouFit
Please do not give them your credit card nor bank card information. I had such a horrible experience with YouFit, I wouldnโt wish it on anyone.
Their contracts are impossible to read while you are signing them electronically and when you go to cancel, be prepared to pay in the neighborhood of $300 for absolutely nothing. This is the biggest racquet in the history of service contracts. The personal trainer that was assigned to me was late to every single personal training session, always hurried through the sessions with me (we only had 2) and made extremely insensitive comments in front of me about other people he was training. One day I got sick and had to reschedule my third session โ I texted requesting we reschedule and no response, not peep from him for 2 weeks, yet YouFit continued to charge me for personal training sessions that were not being rendered.
I finally texted him asking why I was being charged for services that werenโt being rendered and asked to just cancel the personal training altogether. He replied with โWeโll find a day that works for youโ and then nothing again for weeks. I saw more new charges on my bank statement and asked to cancel again. He said I had to visit the location in person to cancel.
When I went in person to cancel, I asked to speak with the general manager who quickly cut me off and said โI already know who you are; you donโt need to explain anything to meโ. I said, โDonโt you want to hear my side of the story?โ And he said, โWe already spoke about you, I know your storyโ. Wow. When we were filling out paperwork, there was an option to cancel and pay an amount to not exceed $170 for early termination.
I asked why we werenโt selecting that option since they were making me to pay $220 first before allowing me to cancel and they told me that after todayโs cancellation charges to expect another $70 charge 15 days from now. He said, โThat option doesnโt apply to you because youโre on month to month plan.โ I felt duped; the trainer ONLY offered me a month to month plan and even positioned it as a selling point during sign up, making it sound like it was advantageous to me that they did month to month for easy cancelling โ he forgot to mention youโll still be charged for 30 daysโ worth of training you no longer want to receive. I was never offered a long-term option that would have protected me in this scenario. Beware and if you sign up and have to or want to cancel for whatever reason, brace yourself for a heck of a negative financial impact that feels just as sketchy as their Barney-themed purple and green interiors.
I see them going out of business in just a few years because poorly run businesses that donโt have their customerโs best interest at heart donโt last long.
A contract full of โgotchaโsโ will only get you so far YouFit.

Why didn't you just read the agreement. You have 3 business days to get a full refund if you don't like anything in there.
Why don't you shut up employee of Youfit, you suck!
Hahaha very mature. Is that your argument for everyone that makes a valid point that you don't have a rebuttal for?
Truth
If they represent something as true and intend you to rely upon it when you know it is false, you have committed fraud.
Why don't YOU read the law?
