Thank you to one Anonymous responder for reading the whole of the complaint. And to date, no resolution offered.

I have closed my account and transferred my funds. That might be a solution for others as well.

As for the "Loyal Customer" from Florida, that is sketchy within itself to claim that title. I patron a variety of businesses locally here in AZ that keep me because they are able to resolve issues of concern professionally in a timely and efficient manner -- that makes me a loyal customer. I don't know why you chose to troll complaint of an Arizona Youfit and claim otherwise when you haven't experienced their behavior when questioned.

And to answer: "... but are you sure you didn't have a little attitude first?" Why don't you re-read the statement and the comments carefully.

I think it answers the redundancy of your question. If you don't understand a word, please use an online dictionary.

I think I will be visiting once a day, if not twice a day for several reasons. I will be talking to the customers at this location, and I will also take videos of their business etiquette while working out.

I advise you do the same.

And to add the blow, can someone please think of a great hashtag to bring attention to this? We can spread this on Twitter.

The sales person that signed me up for the membership also hung up on me when I asked her if I could place her on hold. I took 2 seconds.

She admitted to hanging up and not knowing how long she was on hold.

She denied that she immediately hung up. Yet she did.

I called about a charge on my account for $40.63 the day after my monthly fee of $20.32. The person that received me began by informing of the charges I signed up for.

It wasn't so much about the charge as it was about the customer service. The girl referred me back to the person that signed me up with membership. And although she was very charming and sweet at the time of sign up, she became pretty defensive. I explained my position and not being aware of the annual maintenance fee.

She gave the impression that the fees are annually, meaning the beginning of each yearly cycle. However, that wasn't it at all. So by explaining my position and the surprise. The receivers of my call lacked professional approach.

In our discussion, they kept opening cans of worms. Admitting to their behaviors and consistently arguing with me instead of being professional and asking me to come in to resolve the issue by going through the contract. Or offering some sort of resolution. Instead, she came on strong and said basically that I signed the contract and I should know what it says.

I read the contract, and it said nothing about the date (being charged the 3rd month into my membership) I will be charged and the impression remains the same. That the annual contract was to be charged at the end of my yearly cycle.

The workers are charming at the beginning at the Scottsdale, AZ. However, if you have a question for them on their services, they get aggressively defensive.

That alone makes you wonder if you are valued as customer. I didn't feel like I was valued as a paying customer.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $100.

Preferred solution: Advocate for customers to become more aware of the charges. Also, offer a personal apology from the lack of customer service to a current paying customer..

Youfit Health Clubs Cons: Misleading, Argumentative, Unprofessional.

Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Seria bueno que la Manager de Coral Gables fuera un poco mas amable *** los que pagamos alli como clientes. Uno no puede asumir lo que no ve y sibse equivoca muy amablemente puede decirlo. Tiene una actitud muy fea.

So you did NOT read the agreement?

The first comment. I will catch you up to speed.

It is not about the initial question of the contract I posed, it was the CUSTOMER SERVICES that lacked a professional approach AND etiquette. The manner was uncalled for and unexpected, especially for a paying customer that has to visit the club. Although, the money paid doesn't grow on trees, I figure I can get an explanation at please and be on my merry way. I'm going to paraphrase another complaint when he said, you need a lawyer to go through the paperwork.

Tactfully (quite obviously I am aware of now), they down played the agreement and rushed me through it. I asked very specific questions: "Do I need to worry about any additional fees?", "Do I have to pay any other fees immediately or should I be looking forward to any fees?" As I read through the contract (hardly an agreement), I didn't see any wording that said/indicated I will be charged an annual fee 3 months into my membership.

Actually my agreement says ANNUAL CLUB DUES of $39.99 once yearly beginning____12/08/2014_____________. Local sales tax

will be applied where applicable.

It was on the first page in bold letters. My initials were right next to it as well.

"Actually" that is not sufficient enough information. You seem to ignore the post and the focus - Customer Service.

You choose to (I also think, ignorantly) ignore that and focus on the charges. If some information that was remedied in a professional manner my post would be non-existent.

However, nonetheless, vaguely stating fees and not defining the time it will be charged is misleading. And for you to misguide your audience is definitely showing why you are "Anonymous" for a reason, much to your discredit. I hope the readers also know that they have a right to know exactly when, into the contract, the dues are to be paid.

It says $39.99 for you, another amount for others, and I was charged a different amount as well. So what is your explanation for that? The inconsistencies and misleading information clearly defines the lack of professionalism. Also, to be sure I am correct, I assume that you are not an affiliate (other than being paying customer that is utilizing the facilities without any personal gain).

Meaning that if you are affiliate and trying to twist or convolute this campaign.

I am pretty sure, had you experienced something similar as a paying customer, an apology and a professional approach would sufficient as well.

I'm not an affiliate, just a loyal customer that has been attending this gym for 3 1/2 years. The staff has always been very upbeat and friendly every time I go in there, which is why it's hard for me to believe that they would be so rude to you for no reason.

Now I do understand that everyone has their bad days, and that is no reason for them to take that into the workplace, but are you sure you didn't have a little attitude first? How did they not define the time. Like I just showed you, mine stated it was due on 12/08/2014 WITH MY INITIAL NEXT TO IT. Your due was not a different amount, it was $39.99.

The reason you got charged $40.63 is because this great country that we live in charges "sales tax". That's like going to Walmart and complaining you paid a little more than what was on the sticker. I'm not sure what the laws are in Arizona, but in Florida you have 3 business days to get a full refund if you don't like anything in the contract.

That's why I asked for a printed copy, even though they do send it to your email. It's only 3 pages long so didn't take too long to read.

#978840: I think they are practicing unfair business transactions. Something has to happen.

Talking about wasting money... Everything you are charged is in the contract YOU sign.

No lawyer would ever that case. If they do, make sure it is one of those that doesn't collect money unless you win.

She said it is not about the money. It is about the customer service. Read the statement.
